The Lost Iguana Resort offers luxury accommodations in the rainforest. The resort's100 acre property overlooks the world's most active volcano, Arenal Volcano located near La Fortuna, Costa Rica. Arenal newest and most exclusive hotel is located next to the Hanging Bridges, and has over 100 acres of rainforest to explore.

After spending the day exploring the miles of foot trails available at the resort, enjoy your evening by relaxing in your private hot tub and witness the spectacular lava flows and eruptions from the volcano.

Relax in our new Restaurant and Palapa Bar, or at the Lost Iguana's spectacular double pool with swim up bar. Try the heated upper level with sunning shelf and built in seats, or play under the waterfall in the large lower swimming area.

The resort is located just 2 short kms from the Hanging Bridges - an adventure that takes you into the virgin jungle canopy. A short drive and you will will find yourself at the Tabacon Hot Springs, the Fortuna Waterfall or Arenal Lake. But why go anywhere, when from your private balcony, you can watch the most spectacular eruptions from the world's most active volcano, Arenal.

Standard Deluxe: Are luxuriously appointed with local and international artwork. We only use top quality cushion topped mattresses and 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. All rooms include the following amenities:

Luxury Suite: The perfect romantic getaway, our luxury suite provides a restful haven after a long day of adventure. In addition to the amenities of the deluxe room, luxury suite also includes:

Sitting Area	-Outside Garden Shower in First Floor Units
-Dining area with refrigerator	-Jacuzzi Baths on the deck with views of the Jungle and Volcano

Las casitas: Las Casitas are in a separate building set high on a hill. Each unit has a large master bedroom with large bathroom, living room and small second bedroom. The second bedroom has bunk beds and can accommodate a crib. Half bath off living room. Huge balcony/patio with extra large Jacuzzi. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee service. The photos of the volcano on the web site were taken from this location.

Celebrity Suites.
There are two units in each type.

A) Master bedroom with a King sized bed. Master bathroom with a lava rock shower. Jacuzzi on the balcony. Attached second bedroom with a full sized bed and bunk bed. Second bathroom that is small but complete with a shower and toilet. The second bedroom in this unit is the only bedroom on the property that does not have a volcano view. The rate for this Celebrity for four people is $285+tax. Breakfast is included.

B) Master bedroom with a King sized bed. Master bathroom with a lava rock shower. Living room and kitchen. Second bedroom with a volcano view has two full sized beds and it's own small but complete bathroom. The rate for this Celebrity is $330+tax for four people. Breakfast is included. $20 per additional person 12 and over .$6 for children under 12. The policy is for additional guests in both villas.
